Matteo and Sonia are both about to undergo heart surgery. United by their passion for the mountains, while they are in the clinic waiting for their respective interventions, they become friends and promise, once they have recovered, to make a climb in Trentino together. Despite Sonia’s husband’s concerns on both the health of his wife and the possible development of the close relationship between her and Matthew, the two protagonists stick to the promise
